Summer is Here!

Summer has arrived, it doesn't get any better than this.  Went to the Vermont Quilt Festival this past weekend and had a great time.  I love Burlington VT, and all its maple goodness.  Maple candy, maple syrup and maple ice cream, I had it all.  I was in good company with my quilting friend and enjoyed every minute.  I was so inspired, I can't wait to get into my quilting room and get to business.  This is my garden shed my husband built for me in 2001, I spend many summer hours sitting and working in my garden with kitty.  I Love it!

Spring Has Arrived

Ahhhh... able to exhale after a VERY long winter.  Took last week off to get some chores done around the house and wake up the garden.  I built a stone wall for my fountain and did lots of weeding and planting.  Now its time to sit back and enjoy. 

And of course whats a garden without my kitty :)

Presidents Day Weekend

Another long weekend, love it.  Great for quilting and keeping warm.Its getting lighter out longer,seems to sneak up on you but its noticeable now and I can't wait for spring.  I'm waiting patiently and but itching to get out my spring decorations and put away the snow men. Do some spring cleaning and open the windows. Kitty doesn't seem to mind what time of year it is an afternoon nap is an afternoon nap.

Happy Valentines Day! Spending  a few hours making cupcakes for work tommorow.  I think I need a new camera, ive been having problems getting pictures on my blog and I dont think they are very clear.
