Happy New Year 2013!

Here we are again ready to greet the new year. The holidays are over and resolutions are ready to be made.  I'm happy the holidays have passed once again.  So much cooking and cleaning, shopping and wrapping.  Its a wonder any of us are sane when its over.  Now that its over, down it all comes.  I undecorated this weekend and put it all away. This year, I'm not asking anyone to take the undecorated tree out to the burn pile.  Lets see how long it stays in the unused living room, as the needles drop by the hundreds. Oh I'm patient, right now its only day 2.  I started cleaning the house from the top down  , going through draws laying down pretty scented liner and throwing out those bra's and underwear I hope I never get in an accident with.  Yeah you know which ones I'm talking about.  I feel so much more together when everything is clean and in its place.  I have two men I have to pick up after and I swear neither one can bend at the waist, or clean out any of their own stuff.

Well Santa didn't bring me a Camera but he did bring me a camera printer.  We didnt realize my camera was broken and it could no longer be repaired/serviced from Cannon.  So I went and bought another Cannon, this one SX500 IS so far I love it.  I sit and watch the birds at the feeder and I think I have all the cardinals in the neighborhood at my house. I had three pairs, 3 males and 3 female, but I'm sorry to say one of the females hit the window and died yesterday.  I couldn't get them all together but here's a picture of them.  I guess I do offer the best meal in town.  The females were on the other side of the tree and not as easy to see.

I did manage to finish two Christmas quilts this year, I have had them both for at least three years.  I quilted both of them on a sit down machine.

This is the twister, not one of my favorites any more, I have probably done 6 of the twisters, I think I'm done.
